Great sturdy item
Easy install. Pulls down and stays down with weight on shelves. If not weighted down after pulling down, will spring back quickly. Sturdy materials. Comes with foam cut outs that can dampen metal noise/changing to shelf.

Still a struggle to reach for us shorties
The realinn pull down shelf for upper cabinets is wonderful. But in the end I still can't reach it easily due to my height. It works well and in theory would be useful but for me, I still struggle to reach. It does store spices easily and organized them well. It would work best for taller folks who can easily reach the cabinet door without help.

Fantastic build quality, but needs a wide and tall cabinet
The quality of this shelf is fantastic. It's really well built, and the gas strut helps control the lowering motion so it doesn't just fly open. I'm giving it five stars for the product itself, but unfortunately it didn't fit a single cabinet in my kitchen. You need a wide cabinet opening and plenty of height above the shelf, including room for whatever you're storing on it when it's raised. I measured ahead of time and thought it would fit, but the height clearance turned out to be the problem. My older cherry cabinets have fixed shelves, so I couldn't rearrange the interior to make room. If you have a large cabinet with enough open space, I can see this being a really nice addition. Just check the door opening and the clearance for the loaded shelf carefully. It takes up more cabinet space than I expected, and I'm disappointed I couldn't find a place for such a well-made piece.
